Creative Communication and Portfolio Development: College Life 1

Started my college life few weeks ago on 31th March.Need to stay outside without family and my maid.Tell myself not to act like a small girl anymore.No more play play,no more maid for me.Everything have to done by myself.Feel fun at first but now i am so tired . Cleaning,cooking,washing all the cloth by my myself.How i wish they are beside me now.

This is my room-mate.

She is Yap Sin Dee,Foundation In Mass Communication student.We know each other since primary school,she is a quite good friend.We stay together in Puchong,my auntie's house.

She drive me to college EVERYDAY.

31th March,The very first day I in Taylor's University.We having a very bad traffic on the way to Taylor's.Besides that,we also faced to an accident.Our car crashed with a lawyer's car.That time i was like oh my God.The lawyer asked us to stop our car a side and want to discuss about it.We are going to late to college.Luckily she didn't talk much.She took our phone number and said will call us soon because she is rushing in time too.But she was like keep mentioning that her car is NEW CAR.Not our fault also.Sin Dee already lighted the signal before turning out but the lawyer still speed up her car.End out accident and keep blaming us.She didn't call us after that.Maybe she realize is her fault too?We arrived around 9am.Slightly late to the orientation ceremony.The first day of orientation started with welcome address by Mr. Loy Teik Inn,the Vice President of Institutional Marketing and some introduction to student experience by Ms. Angela Pok,the Director of Student Experience.The ceremony then going on with some briefing by Mr.Gerald Raj and Ms.Hoo Sze Ling.After that,we were asked to grouping according courses.We went into our own lecturer theater hall and have the academic orientation.Having some talks and then go for digital photo for student ID and joined the campus tour.Ended on time,5pm and we went back home safely.

1st of April,the second day of orientation.All mass communication students are in a same lecturer theater hall.Started at 11am with briefing first year experience activities.Included welcome speech by FYE President Ms. Ngim Mei Yee,ice breaking activities by Mr. Karmini,Mr. Edward Sim and Ms.Siow Yuen Ching.After that we break into two groups,foundation in communication and diploma in communication.Lunch break at 12.30pm then continued with talks from 2pm untill 6pm.Still not yet meet new friend.Feel scare and shy to talk to them.Tell myself have to overcome the fear of talking in front of public and the fear of talking to new friends.We used to back to our own home very friday.Today,before we going back,we went to a bbq restaurant to have our dinner.That was great.Young people always know how to enjoy life.Haha.
